Ticket receipt
My wife upgraded to PE, but DL for some reason continues to deny her claim to mileage credit based on a K fare, only crediting the original O fare.
This even after she sent the a scan of her bp, where "fare class K" is clearly printed.
Looking in her records she can only find her original booking receipt. She called VS to ask for a copy of the final receipt and the representative on the phone gave her an email address, which she used more than a month ago without ever receiving a reply, or even an acknowledgement.
Calling again VS they said it is not possible to contact the office that should issue her receipt in any other way.
This, I suspect, happened following the reservation system change. Ticket was originally issued in the old system and she flew shortly after the change; we did notice ticket number and reservation code on BP being different than on the original receipt.
Delta is particularly sucking in this respect, but does any of you know of a way to contact Virgin and get a receipt where it appears a K fare was paid ?
She upgraded online, not at the airport.
