Correct. The meal standard on E90 flights is the same as on other aircrafts except for the fact that PLH meal standards no longer apply to flights operated by the E90.
So instead of the PLH meal offering (choice of 4 main courses, courses served separately, cookies + ice cream for dessert) you'll get the regular NA long-haul meal offering (three course meal served all at once, choice of two main courses only) on flights such as YUL/YYZ-YEG.
Personally, I have no issue with this - except for the number of main course options being reduced to 2 - IMO there's no good reason not to offer 3 (or the regular 4) options.
