I purchased one of these in January (SEA-BKK-SEA). Once I booked, I called United to give them my MP#, and then it showed up in my itineraries at ual.com as a W-fare. I ended up getting scared I wasn't going to get mp credit, so I happened to find a fare sale and was able to snag a V-fare.
