But, I plan to keep the phone on airplane mode on any day that I don't intend to use the plan, and only turn on wi-fi. Otherwise, some app using background data or perhaps an incoming text could trigger the day's charge.
Would also be helpful to know the definition of a "day." Is it midnight to midnight at the phone's location? Or something else?
this is how Verizon does it and my reading of the plan suggests this should be the same. FYI Verizon does a 24 hour period from the time you first use data. That equals 1 day to them. Only charged for days you're active.
