Just to echo what Ldnn1 has said of course welcome to Flyertalk and the BA Board andytown!

I've not read nor heard anything with Avios part payments on flight + hotel but I am sure for some it would possibly go down well so who knows if it will ever come.

I've been wishing for (a long time!) regional pro-active upgrades (POUG) to be offered for us outwith London but there's no sign of that anytime soon :-(

Anyhow, lots to read on Flyertalk and there are plenty of other forums as well as on here so I hope you find it useful.
