This is a really frustrating situation for people in general. You have a price match promise, but you don't. Hotels do this all the time. State that they will match a lower price, and then when you go to book you are told no because there was no comma or full stop in the description so it's not like for like.

The fact is, consolidators sell wholesale rates for flights and hotels all the time, as is the case in this situation, yet the price promise policy is never really given.

I've had it twice in recent months with hotels. So annoying.
