(earning more miles and tier points in the process) Problem is many people really just aren't fans of positioning or separate tickets, due to all of the extra time and risk it entails.

Shame Virgin America is no longer available, as that was one of the better/easier ways to use Flying Club miles on U.S. domestic flights.
