Ive only ever stayed at 2 St Regis properties, BKK (once) and Istanbul (3 times).
BKK was my first one and it was good - better than my usual JW haunts anyway.
The Istanbul one I really rate. Great service, great rooms, really really nice people who cant do enough for you. Breakfast offering is a bit limited and feels a bit cramped indoors in winter in the restaurant. A lovely little terrace for summer. Good location - unfortunately Turkey is going through some bad times and occupancy rates are low - particularly after the recent nearby bombings.
I will try more St Regis hotels as, yes they are part of a chain, but they feel special.
