[QUOTE=HomerJay;27829736][QUOTE=Mrtravel28;27825843]My question isn't that of country norm. It is of should SPG ask their hotels to post signage or inform guests when norms violate basic decency?

Dude, you really should stay back here in the States. Going naked in a sauna doesn't violate basic decency in Germany. On the other hand, a woman going around without a hijab violates basic decency in Saudi Arabia. Different cultures, different standards. And we are the guests. When in Rome.....

It's not up to us to decide for other people and other cultures what their standards of basic decency should be.

As stated, these statements are false. It is not a norm, I am from that area. It is a norm when labeled so!

I wish the mods would curb those who are simply responding based on their attitude without reading the actual posts.

I wish all of you claiming it is norm, would get to go to something like that assuming a Sheraton standard, nice with your in-laws and parents at the same time. I think maybe you'd have slightly different opinions. In fact I would bet that 99% of those doing this there were there as single men, with only several being couples. Again most didn't speak German.
