Alright, aside from the personal attacks on me and my family, which is the sad state of FT apparently, there are a few points I should make to clarify.

1. I will not be shamed into submission to not post back, because bunch of forum members "really let me have it" and suggested I "stay in America". Shame on those who think like that, and it is my belief that isn't the mentality of majority and obviously not something SPG/Marriott would stand behind.

2. I didn't ask for points or compensation regarding the nudity from the hotel. I simply expressed my surprise with it not being stated anywhere. The signs one member said are on the saunas themselves, not for the entire area. In fact the saunas have hooks by the door for the towels. I would assume that suggests you are in a robe or towel as you reach the actual sauna. Again, if it is allowed why not have the signage on the main entrance to the sauna world, which is a norm in other pools and saunas in that part of the world. Not having it labeled as such leaves it to interpretation from both those who want to dangle stuff and those who find it not decent. When has having an opinion of what is decent and what not started being wrong?

3. The attacks on my person about being uncultured American are rather false. Even though I might not be as well traveled as many that are jumping to conclusions about me I was born and raised about 2 hour drive from the hotel in question, and I assure you it is not the norm to walk around naked with children present. In fact I suspect that the guests participating in the nude walkabouts and being naked on the chairs outside of the saunas an in the salt rooms, and in the public pool showers (not in designated locker rooms) were not German or Austrian but perhaps Russian. All pools/spas that allow nudity have it clearly FKK marked, same with beaches and so on. But what do I know...

4. I agree that if in the SAUNA itself you are naked, go for it. The rest of the common area has no medical reason for it. Again if the hotel allows guests to walk around naked in the entire common SAUNA WELT area, I would expect a sign on the main entrance to that area.

5. I posted this as an SPG question. Few years back I stayed in Sheraton in Chicago. There was about 10 person family swimming fully clothed. The Front Desk Manager came and asked them to leave and use a swimming suite if they want to use the facility and pointed to the signage where it clearly said "swim trunks/suite....needed". He also came around the pool and apologized to the rest of the guests for that. No points, but what a character. I gave him several of the Plat "you made my stay" cards and a big tip. I believe the hotel or SPG could be doing better, not only in Jagdhof Sheraton but company wide. Of course for that you need the employees like that manager in Chicago.

6. Ultimately I see that the most common denominator on here is to jump the person who might have an issue with a hotel lately. Not just this thread. That is ok and the mods allow it. I will just enjoy my plat status in the hotels that fit my norm. For those of you who find this the norm and like getting surprised in hotels in that manner, well now you know where to go.
