"Breakfast for a Buck" - or not quite?
SPG advertises a promo where you can get breakfast for $1 for one person (rate code: FPBKPKG)
I am also an AARP member and when I book the AARP rate (at the Four Points LAX) I get an acceptable rate, but if I try to book the FPBKPKG rate, the base rate jumps up by $13, thus negating the discounted breakfast advantage.
So does that mean that the FPBKPKG rate is really bogus, if you were eligible for another rate e.g. AARP?
Or am I doing something wrong?
