Looking at the JAL check in page I cannot set any seat to my Finnair flight but to the JAL flight. On the Finnair check in page I can set seat to the Finnair flight (for a fee) but not to the JAL flight.

The picture shows how my JAL seat selection looks like. I'd probably panic over getting no sleep and being crampled in like a pie if in any of those seats. It's not like I got any choice but to wake someone up if I need to get up...
