I have an upper-deck April 8th IAD-LHR flight that shows in expert flyer seat map as a mid-J 747-400. Does that mean the aircraft won't be a refurbished one?

Also, anyone know why the A380 is being phased out on this route, IAD-LHR / LHR-IAD, with the 747-400 in its place?
