I've done the Domestic -> USA transfer a bunch.
It is enough time but it will be a bit rushy.

If she checks-in bags, she doesn't need to claim them, but she needs to wait in the F gate waiting room until they're processed.
If I recall correctly, She'll scan at step one, process her passport, wait for her bags at step 2, then once she see's her name on the board, she scans at step 3, proceeds through security, then CBP verification, then done. Should take about 10-20 mins.

There are video's and instructions that you can show her ahead of time but I can't find the right ones since AC updated their website.
