Two hypothetical situations, curious if my understanding of premier status qualifications is correct.

SCENARIO A

Person flies JFK-NRT-SIN on NH metal 3x in January and February of a year, earning 120,000 PQM and spending 13,000 PQD (on P fares). Never touches UA metal.

This person then goes on to fly EWR-ALB roundtrip twice in October of that year, two round trips and four segments on UX metal.

Does this person instantly go from dirt to 1K in October, with no time spent at the intermediate levels? Does this person get like 4 kits in the mail on the same day?

SCENARIO B

Someone takes advantage of the $800ish RT TPAC Y fares in January and February and does 3 trips to NRT, HKG, SIN from EWR or IAD, racking up 55,000 PQM but only spending $2,400. Assume four segments on UA metal if not more. This person spends $3,000 a month on their MileagePlus Explorer card, hitting $25,000 spend for the waiver in September. Does this person go from dirt to Gold in September?

Just curious if its possible for someone to jump multiple levels at once!
