In the meantime, I found out that the inbound was cancelled, which likely meant no Il-96.
Disappointed and concerned about the uncertainty of the flight, I made a few back-up “plans" that could be executed quickly if an all-economy plane would show up.
The morning-of, the Aeroports de Paris website showed the inbound flight on-time, as an A330-200, with an Air Europa code in addition to the CU flight number. This hinted towards an Air Europa charter, but all data on these flights is very unreliable and it could have been a system error too.
I then saw CS-TLO take-off, and head in the direction of Paris. NO!! I tracked it all the way to Paris, but: then it landed in CDG, not ORY. Huh?! Perhaps this accounted for the rescheduled departure time, as they wanted to bus us to CDG?
