In my case no one had my "special Korean number" yet, so turning the phone off - though a good idea in hindsight - shouldn't have been an issue! I've sence politely but directly expressed my displeasure to the hotel staff, and recommended that they check these things as part of standard room turnover. Apology accepted, and I got 9.5 hours of sleep last night.
