Somewhat understandable, given
QRs transit accommodation program program which entails a complimentary hotel for connections longer than eight hours. I believe that all F fares are eligible for this.
I think that would be only if the long connection is forced, with the passenger booked on the first legal connecting flight to the destination regardless of fare class availability, etc.
