OMG what kind of trolling!

1) On the train, from Stockholm to Taby, as the electronic ticket dispenser was broken. Per the conductor, cash or phone payment only - no cards allowed. --> The machine was broken! How could your card have been processed? And you could even pay by phone!

2) In the streets, to purchase small items from a variety of shops, including souvenir shops (!) and small snack food stands. --> I can't process a credit card either. Wanna buy some home made lemonade?

3) In the large shopping plazas. The paid WC at the NK shopping only takes cash. --> Use a free one in a café / restaurant / hotel lobby / museum / gas station etc! And some even work by phone too.

4) Tips in the restaurants. --> Tips are not expected so why should they be processed? Actually, too many restaurants do suggest and accept tipping by credit card for tourists like you.

In my view, Sweden as a cashless society was just a lot of hype.[/QUOTE]
