I was in YVR today, specifically (and only) for my NEXUS interview, scheduled many months ago during a time I would already be in SEA with some time to spare.

Arriving in YVR I used the kiosk and had minimal wait in line; approaching the officer I proactively asked where the NEXUS office was saying that was the reason for my visit, and she asked no other questions.

Leaving YVR was another story! Even though I have Global Entry, to use the GE expedited line for security (that comes before pre-clearance), you must show your GE card. The GE card that I never carry because I've never been asked for it before! Then it was a 30-minute queue for security, where my BP was checked at least six times. FINALLY, past security I found the GE kiosk. But unlike most US airports where you just hand the GE form to the officer, this one asked to inspect my passport, BP, and GE form.

I'm looking forward to getting the NEXUS card before my next trip to Canada!
