Yes, although whether $30 is worth 250 MQMs (12cpm) and confirmed F in a CR9 for a short flight is debatable

-- if you accept an offer at check-in, those do NOT give you bonus MQMs. So if you are planning on buying coach and deciding later, do the buy-up beforehand. just realized you meant the SDC is worth a stab (yep, can't really hurt to ask)
