I just tried linking my daughter's SW FF# to my MR acct, and it worked just fine. She is not an additional card on my acct. In fact, she does not even have an AMEX card. So I suggest you do what you suggested - when your transfer is completed, delink your FF# from your MR acct, and try to link it to your mother's acct. There is definately no need to go thru the hassle of getting another card on your mother's acct!!!!
