I may lower my CLs on my existing cards, or just apply and hope for the best. I mean it's a TU pull, so not really a big deal if I'm not approved as nobody else pulls TU for me.
I have two red cards, one from USair days and the other with the new link. So far I haven't been billed the annual fee but got email stating welcome to the card, here is your bonus.
I didn't lower my credit and didn't get instant approval, instead I received a call from them asking if they can move credit from one of my other cards to issue the new card, I said sure and they took 10k from the old Aviator to give me the new card, so it was obvious I had another Red card to them.
