Sorry to revive an old thread, but has anyone had any luck in the last 12 months with booking the MPN flights on Avios?

It seems there is zero availability on any dates on BAEC or Avios.com. I'm wondering whether this is a change of policy by LAN to no longer offer Avios seats on the MPN flights, or perhaps they can only be booked with BA on the phone?
