I agree that NZ is a class act - I do the majority of my flying on them too - but the beauty of an alliance is that you can fly one airline but use the FFP of another. Indeed, for UK residents NZ actively encourages you to do that. So, I suppose my point is, what are the "extra perks" for NZ*E (as opposed to any other *G) and are they enough to justify the disadvantages of AirPoints?
