There was a story in the FInancial Times about QF which mentioned that QF has "lots of planes on order" and is in year 3 of their fleet renewal plan, costing AUD 17 billion. I know QF has 10xA380 on order (in fact they have the 2nd delivery slot, if I remember correctly). That accounts for 25% of the cost; the 747ERs and A330s come to another 3 billion (unless they are getting more A330s than I know about). So what planes are being bought for the other AUD 10 billion? That is a lot of 738s ....
Does anyone have details of the fleet renewal?
