After reading the post regarding the new refit of the A340's I'm now a bit confused about our upcoming flight and the seating chart displayed on Expert Flyer.

We are booked on IB6275 MAD>ORD end of September 2017. The seating chart on Expert Flyer shows the aircraft as A340-600 as does the IB confirmation. However, the seating chart shown on expert flyer shows business as rows 1-9, with coach as rows 21-60. From other posts in this forum, it would appear that the 9 row business configuration is actually the A330, but then the coach seating doesn't line up.

As we are in business, I'd like to have better confidence that the seating chart is correct as we have selected seats already.

My only guess is that this is a partially reconfigured seat chart as IB rolls out the new premium economy product, and perhaps removes the rear mini cabin of business seats for the new PE seats.

Even then, we are till trying to understand if row 3 in business is still a honeymoon suite - it differs on EF vs others.

We're grateful for any information you can share to help us understand what the real seating chart is.
