We are trying to decide between staying in town at either the Conrad or the Ramses, or staying out by the Pyramids. We are only in Cairo for 2 nights so we want to take advantage of the sights as much as possible. I'm a bit wary of what I've read of the crowds, noise, and traffic in the city. Is it easy to get around? Or better to stay outside of town and get a taxi in for the museum and shopping?
