Not sure if this should be in the Air Canada Android App thread as I would assumed this is also being added to the Apple version as well. Also, I expect we will have a lot of discussion about this going forward.
Got an notification that new AC App available for my BB Priv and it state the following under What's New:

- (BETA) Standby and upgrade list available for Rapidair East routes. Find it in your Booked and Tracked flight details and Flight Status. More markets coming soon.
