My girl-friend needs one more BA segment to qualify for BA Silver, and our preferred option would be to fly TXL to OSL.
However, TXL-LHR-OSL flights are very expensive, so we were thinking about booking only one segment for cash and redeem some Avios for the other segment.
I've read that Oneworld have changed their policies - but how does BA do it in practice?
Would we be able to check a bag through? I really don't want to go through the hassle of rechecking bags at LHR.
I guess they definitely wouldn't check our bags through if we fly LHR-OSL on SAS (on a separate ticket), right?
