I had an experience during EYW that was absurd. As the YOW lounge was opening, we were behind a disabled woman who had a caretaker helping her. The lounge attendant loudly made it known that JUST the disabled woman had lounge privileges (the caretaker was flying too but maybe without status.) After some discussion, they agreed the caretaker could push in the woman but must immediately leave.
Umm, no. Thank you. Tossed our SE cards down on the counter and told the lady she'd be staying and that she deserved to be there more than we did.
