IME, if they give you an e-boarding pass, you should be able to use it. In fact, you may not even get one for a variety of reasons. Is CDG-ATL operated by AF or DL?
Most gates at CDG 2E does this self-boarding thing where you can scan a paper boarding pass or the e-boarding pass -- both work.
