Any others super central? Ruled out St Regis, Westin, Hasler, Russie. All too out of the way for a one night visit / first timer (especially given we will likely walk everywhere and have dinner in Trastevere).
Spanish Steps (Hasler) is not really out of way, most people would rate the location perfect. Also depends on what you will see on the 1 day. More renaissance or antique? In the end "great" options in Rome are rare.
