We figured the no children policy out when we contacted reservations. Bit of a disappointment as it looks like a stunning property so we've decided to just stay at the Ocean Key instead.

I realise staying at hotels in the US will almost always mean paying a resort fee but when there's an alternative where there is no resort fee or rollaway bed charge then I'll always take it - especially if the alternative is a brand new FS!

Never heard of the Faena but had a quick look and I quite like the style. Miami has so many interestingly designed hotels. We've taken one of the Cabana Studios at FS Surfside.
