I was confronted by a FA not too long ago while I was watching "Shakespeare in Love" on my laptop. It was on a 3.5+ hr AA flight with no IFE. The FA happened to walk by during one of the short scenes with nudity and confronted me about what I was watching. I remained civil and responded "Shakespeare in Love, you know 7 academy awards." I did not snap (but I thought of it) about the lack of IFE on the plane.

My explanation satisfied her and she left me alone, but I could tell she was disturbed. For the one (or two) remaining scenes with nudity in the film, I chose to skip past them to avoid anyone becoming uncomfortable.

Has anyone else experienced any similar experiences with R-rated movies on flights?
