I haven't seen this before (last stay at a Hilton was 12/29/16) -- the app now appears to indicate to you that you've been upgraded, via a message and an icon at OLCI time.

I've been pre-upgraded in the past, but don't remember it ever telling me explicitly that it was an upgrade, and certainly don't remember the little up-arrow icon indicating as such on the map.
