Couldn't agree more. I've been GGL and CCR (so well in excess of 5k TPs a year) for a couple of years. Gold for over 15 years. Almost at GFL.

But over the last 12 months I've lost most of my loyalty to BA. Stopping luggage transfer on separate tickets between BA and OW was bad enough, then BA to BA. Now BoB.

My personal (self-employed) annual travel spend over the last couple of years has been averaging £30k. Previously 80% would have gone to BA. Now it's more like 20%. I know that's a drop in the pond to BA, but I sense that more and more people are doing the same. It will soon have an effect. I do feel sorry for the BA frontline staff who often do a great job. It's not them, it's the annoyance and inconvenience these changes bring to customers (e.g. collecting and rechecking luggage) that have been the final straw for me.
