I personally think that first class East Coast redemptions are good value, £1000 return for 2,it's good value for me because a) I would only fly that far, and admittedly it's not really that far, with a flat bed and I doubt I could get 2 ex-UK Club World tickets for that price. Ex-EU is not for me and b) it's the same taxes etc. for F as it is for J.

Depending on availability I'd try for a 2 centre trip perhaps to Washington or Boston out and then return from JFK. You get to see two cities and get to experience both Concorde Rooms (LHR & JFK)
