At one point this might have been a strange e-mail, but it's a lot more common nowadays. Got 2 days ago for LAX-OGG RPU that didn't clear. Definitely not the first I've gotten. Coachburger was good though...

Aside - LAX is down 3 gates right now due to construction - (2 opposite each other mid-concourse T7) and 82 at T8. It'll be interesting to see what flights are added as construction finishes. Hawaii flights have been pared 'way back with loss of gates.
