I've had a few flights on AA recently and noticed a lot of advertising in the terminals, jet bridges and planes for the AA Aviator Credit Card by Barclays.
It really seems that AA is pushing the Barclays cards over the Citi cards these days...why is that?
Before, I'd always see advertising for the Citi branded cards and very little in regards to the Barclays Aviator, but haven't seen that in a while now.
Was just hoping to get your thoughts on why the push of one over the other, especially when Citi has been the branded card of choice for AA.

It seems to be the way they've segregated the marketing. Citi cards online and Barclay cards in-flight and at airports.
