I bought a ticket on KLM.com for travel on Delta and Air France (ticket was 2 to 3 times more expensive on either delta.com or af.com). Travel is MSP>>AMS on Delta & AMS>>MRS on AF, return the same legs. Layovers at Schipol about 1:40 each way.

I realize a missed connection is unlikely, but if we are delayed outbound and miss the connection at AMS, where do we go, AF, KLM or a transfer desk? Ditto the reverse, except substitute Delta for AF? If everything falls apart is it KLM that is ultimately responsible for getting us there?
