#10 got my way of thinking.
I will pay that Aud$2k reduced to $1855 or so, one day down the track, (its on my bucket list), if I use the horribly value P+P one day, ...
But for the time being, if I was going to PER again, I would book 2 whY via a comfort seat request at about $598/$650 or so one way from ADL, and be happy with that.
But paying Aud$2k when there are alternatives, from PER to SYD/MEL/BNE or vv, ???
That 330 lie flat bed could just be a mere dream taken from you, if QF swaps it to a 737.
