I fly EWR-IAH on a regular basis and always aim for the 752 or 76x flights, since it's the same price as the 320 and 73x flights. I wouldn't pay a huge premium for it, even for the Saks blanket and BF pillow. Same food service as the other aircraft. It's just a nice bonus when you can get it.
While I don't argue the results of the audience, I am actually quite shocked at the overwhelming number or people who wouldn't pay extra for it.
I wasn't actually thinking of sleeping in it, but just to have a nicer seat with more leg room and personal space, or being able to just recline more on a 2-3 hour mid-con.
I rational for the question was based off of how happy we are to get a 752 on a non p.s. domestic flight and since the aircraft is subject to change up until the last minute and flat beds are not guaranteed on domestic flights. I was wondering if there was a market for them on domestic flights, even if not used specifically for sleeping.
