I had the beef main course on a recent flight to SIN - it was fine, nothing special, and the steak was of course seriously overcooked, but I've had worse. They also had the same starters - I had the goat cheese - which was a tiny spoonful of mousse with some salad - it was nice enough but the portion seemed rather stingy.
On the return from SIN, I had one of the nicest starters I've had on a plane - salmon tartare, which was lovely and a decent portion. The main course was one of the worst - some sort of Moroccan chicken, which was a dry chicken breast with a gravy that had some curry flavouring and some cooked to death vegetables.
