and I'm sure UA recycles the empty bottles. Different customers have different views on bottled water and all opinions should be respected.
Of course UA recycles...EcoSkies anyone? On some flights I recall seeing two bags come down aisles. The problem with plastic is that a water bottle doesn't get recycled and made into a new water bottle...it goes into cheaper grade/use plastic items. So we keep making more and more plastic.
