I am planning to fly from the SEA to AMS on my way to Ireland with a dog in cabin. I am looking for the best way to get from AMS to Ireland. Options include ferry to UK and then fly or another ferry to Ireland. The best way would be to fly from AMS to DUB. I would prefer to have the dog in cabin with me but traveling as checked baggage would work and checked as cargo as a last resort, provided KLM will carry the dog into Ireland at all. Generic information is that KLM will generally allow dogs in the economy cabin but the rules for Ireland can be different so I want to be sure before booking flights.
Any experiences with this would be appreciated.

KLM flies pets, I can't imagine they would refuse to do so for Ireland if all paperwork is in order... since the Dublin route is relatively new I'm not sure if anyone here has any direct experiences.
