The place is so new that it's probably the nicest Hyatt House I'd stayed in. The furnishing and fixtures are nice. The staff is thoughtful and friendly. I'd return anytime.
I put up some visitors here for a few 2-4 night stays over the last few months. The staff are unfailingly friendly, and the upgrades have been good -- 1BR with view of the West Hills being the most common. Usually receive a small gift (water/chocolates) in the room. Breakfast looks like standard HH fare -- many better options in Portland. Location, while not exactly bustling, is quite good -- the hotel is located right on the streetcar loop. My only criticism would be the $36 valet parking (only option). I'd recommend parking in the public lot off 99W ($12/day) or across the river in a non-metered street. Not that you need a car in PDX anyway.
