I find the online Easycheckin very useful when my upgrade clears late as it allows me to see what seats are available and lets me choose the one I prefer. On the outgoing leg, this gives me more information than doing it over the phone, and several hours advantage over those doing it at the airport.

But I've not been able to do this for the return leg as I'm often in a location that doesn't have a printer (I know about using the hotel's fax machine as a printer, but I'm often connected by GPRS or WiFi from some public place).

So what happens if you do Easycheckin online and turn up at the airport without the printout?
