Yes. It's 6 short trips, but it pays off rather quickly when swapping between operators or longer trips. I didn't go for the more extensive pass as I only needed Toei/Tokyo metro. The day I arrived from the airport/left for the airport, I paid for single fare tickets as I wouldn't be using a pass.

As others have said, the Suica can be quite interesting. So can the pass. It's all just a question of where you're staying, where you're going and how much you're going to travel in a day.
