That is not accurate.
Locals who park at the airport's long term lots, public and private, are also affected. Under the new system, all parking shuttles,
including the LAX Lot C shuttle, will drop off
and pick up passengers only on the upper level.
Ridesharing services, i.e., Uber and Lyft, have always been limited to the upper roadway for both pick ups and drop offs.
